The Manager, Information Governance and Privacy will be responsible for business privacy compliance support, documentation and management, and privacy incident investigations. This individual will also help manage and support regulatory and client inquiries and lead privacy risk reduction and remediation for the Health Services Segment. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), federal, regulatory and state privacy laws.
The Manager, Information Governance and Privacy Operations will minimize risk by:
1) Anticipating, identifying, assessing and monitoring privacy risks and potential impacts.
2) Providing privacy education in line with enterprise policies, standards and industry trends to align with the strategic objective of the business.
3) Developing and increasing privacy knowledge to promote a strong privacy culture.
4) Integrating privacy into the design and architecture of systems and business practices. This person will assist with privacy incident investigation, tracking and mitigation for the Health Services segment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform privacy incident investigations.
• Assess and provide input into business processes and controls.
• Answer a variety of privacy related questions from various business areas.
• Coordinate and obtain privacy legal guidance as required.
• Support regulatory and customer inquiry/complaint research/response.
• Maintain positive, productive relationships with internal and external constituents and effectively communicate and influence decision-making and compliant outcomes at various levels necessary to accomplish goals.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in privacy law or compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
CIPP, CIPM, CIPT or other privacy related certification(s).
Education
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of related experience.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
